Corporate photography is a genre that includes quite a number of sectors. On the one hand it includes portraits of staff and directors; whilst on the other hand it incorporates annual reports, website images, business to business marketing and industrial photography.
Warren James Palmer has been a successful corporate photographer for many years and has a long and varied client list.
A total digital workflow is essential in this field of photography, where deadlines are always looming. Today everything is shot digitally and all images are supplied edited on CD or DVD.
From camera to computer to web server (ready for download), can take only a matter of hours. Many corporations like to make use of the online secure client area to view and then download photographs. Essential, when your client is on the other side of the world!
Corporate photography has changed dramatically in the past few years, and today it is at the forefront of creativity and technology. Boring it certainly ain't!
Advertising photography is perhaps percieved as one of the more glamarous sectors of commerical photography. The years of experience, technical expertise and strict discipline needed to succeed in this field of photography tend to be forgotten. Warren Palmer has been working in the field of advertising photography for over two decades. There have been many changes in that time. Today a total digital workflow is essential in this field of photography, where deadlines are always looming. Today everything is shot digitally and all images are supplied edited on CD or DVD.
From camera to computer to web server (ready for download), can take only a matter of hours. Many design and ad agencies like to make use of the online secure client area to view and then download images. Essential, when designers need to check layouts in real-time!
Advertising photography is a heady blend of creativity and technology which is why it is such and exciting field of photography.
People used to think that a photograph could steal your soul. Although this may not be true, it is true that a good portrait photograph always captures the essence of a person. It takes years of experience and a rapport between photographer and sitter to produce successful portraits. Warren Palmer has been a successful portrait photographer for the past two decades.
Portrait Photography is all about creating a 'window to the soul' and is one of the most satisfying fields of photography.
Landscape photography is possibly the most popular field of photography, and it's not difficult to see why. There is nothing quite like capturing the perfect landscape, seascape or sunset. Location photography is more than just a pretty landscape, it covers anything from urban cityscapes to forests and mountains. Warren Palmer is a passionate location photographer. His digital cameras are with him wherever he goes and some of his most memorable and popular images are location and landscape photographs.
Location photography is a chance to record the world as we see it and brings with it immense satisfaction.
Architectural photography is all about being at the right place at the right time. If you photograph a building when the light is just so, the architecture comes truly alive. Photograph a building on a dull day and you've got nothing but bland bricks and concrete. The great attraction of architectural photography is that it takes calm discipline and lots of patience. The most important items to have to hand when photographing architecture are; architects drawings, a compass and an OS map!
Warren Palmer had been commercially photographing architecture for over two decades.
Weddings are a joyous occasion and the role of the
photographer is to record and capture those 'joyous' moments. It's a simple
brief really, but it's amazing how many wedding photographers get it wrong....
I apply the same relaxed but professional techniques used in
high-end advertising and commercial photo shoots, to photographing that special
wedding day.
I really enjoy photographing weddings and I'd like to think
that my clients feel relaxed, comfortable and confident in return. A confidence
that is derived from 22 years as a professional photographer.

When you book Warren James Palmer to photograph your wedding,
you get, well me.... Not a junior photographer, not some bloke from another
wedding studio... Just me and perhaps my assistant. I only photograph one
wedding per day, so I'm not about to dash off half way through the ceremony.
After all, I would like to have a bit of fun as well!
I shoot just digital these days. Using the latest Nikon
professional digital cameras, there is no limit to the amount of images I will
take on your behalf. I'll basically keep shooting until I think the job is
done!
I carry backup digital equipment for everything and will often
download your images onto a laptop during the day. Giving everyone a quick
glance to see the results. I can even arrange for broadcast quality digital
video to be shot at the same time as the stills (with the help of my
assistant).

All your images are later passed through Photoshop to be
edited and where appropriate I'll add special effects like Sepia, Black and
White and colour toning. Basically, I treat your wedding day as a very personal
fine-art commission. Which means that every image delivered to you is
perfect....
Once your images are ready, you can download them from the
client area on this web site. A CD or DVD will be delivered with a special
album to you. And you can choose from a wide range of beautiful album and print
combinations.
Warren James Palmer also runs the online image store
www.imagestoreuk.com. Wjp Photography and ImageStoreUK are part of the
Ripping World Ltd group.
